It looks like an infinity sign, to manipulate the mind of humankind to never ferget this inside job. Why does the white area in the middle symbolise peace? What peace? Had we peace, do we have now peace? So meaningless; please PR agents stop creating propaganda like this, do useful things. If you went around in Downtown NY, you will see a lot of designs like this; what a time waste. sad sad sad..

I think they’ve done a pretty good job. Was it necessary? Maybe not. Nevertheless, I think the symbol works quite well.

Mr. Collins looks like a pretentious dingbat. Those glasses, that hair… the way he speaks. If I worked for him, I would probably hate my life. I imagine everything would be covered in his pixel pushing pointless red ink edits.

I think that trying to step out of reality and claim that creating a new logo for an event which had already been naturally defined by an image is a little ridiculous. To say that the traditional image of the towers was ‘forced’ and had lost meaning doesn’t make sense. The simple fact alone that no one took time out of there day to create that image means it was not forced. Quite the contrary the ‘birds eye’ image is extremely forced, they had to spend time designing it and then describing it to the viewer whereas an image of the towers immediately resonates with meaning with little or no explanation. Yes it resembles the pools but I feel like that image remembers the remainder of the towers and not the towers, it almost diminishes the message of the original natural image. A little backwards if you ask me.
